20/155 Barn across road approximately 10m
north west of Sugley Farmhouse
Barn. Mid-late C18. Random rubble limestone; stone slate roof.
Four-bay barn with west porch and cross-wing at south end. Central
gabled porch on west side with plank doors and timber lintel;
small loft hole above with plank shutter. Single brick-blocked
slit vent to left. Full steep gable of cross-wing to right,
attached outbuildings are not of special interest. No window
openings to cross-wing on south side although use possibly
originally domestic with barn attached at later date. Interior not
inspected but roof structure probably collar and tie-beam trusses.
Forms part of group with Sugley Farmhouse (q.v.).
