ST 89 NE MINCHINHAMPTON AVENING VALLEY

7/173 Lodge approximately 250m north
west of Stroud Court

Lodge. Early C19. Ashlar front, coursed rubble to sides and rear;
artificial stone rebuilt chimney; asbestos slate roof. Two-storey
with cellar. North front: large round arched recess containing
pedimented doorway with tapering monolithic columns. Indications
of a small window originally above doorway, now blocked. Hipped
roof. Two window sash fenestration to sides, 9-pane ground floor
sashes on west side with 6-pane above. Upper floor sashes altered
to 9-pane on east side with roughcast rendered half gables above.
Interior not inspected.
