(north side)

GV II

Two houses in row. Mid-late C17. Random rubble limestone; ashlar
limestone and artificial stone rebuilt chimneys; stone slate roof.
Two-storey with attic; rear wing to No 3. Front: mixed
fenestration, mostly timber windows with iron opening casements to
upper floor; one restored 3-light ground floor mullioned casement.
Later rebuilding around doorway to left with timber lintel. C20
rebuilt part to right links with No 7 (q.v.). West side: 2
gables, one with chimney having chamfered cap, other with oval
window above ground and upper floor timber casement. Attached row
is not of special interest. Rear: wing with higher roof.
