Two houses in row. Mid C18. Coursed rubble limestone; brick
rebuilt chimney; stone slate roof. Two-storey with attic. Front:
2-window fenestraton to each house, timber cross-windows with
leaded iron casements to upper floor. Two segmental arched ground
floor timber cross-windows to No 26; central segmental arched
doorway with plank door. Doorway with 6-panel door, rectangular
light over and flat porch hood to No 24, canted bay window having
sashes is c19 addition. Coved stone eaves. Single gabled dormer
to each house leaded casement. Central ridge-mounted chimney.
Interior not inspected. Central segmental arched recess with well
and hoist. Spear-topped railings with matching gates including
gate access to well.
