SO 8600-8700 MINCHINHAMPTON TETBURY STREET, Minchinhampton Town

II

Two houses on end of row. Early-mid C18. Random rubble limestone,
roughcast render to No 30; ashlar and brick chimneys; stone slate
roof. Two-storey with attic. Front: 2-window fenestration to No
30, all 2-light chamfered mullioned iron casements, ground floor
with hoodmoulds. Central doorway with timber lintel and 6-panel
door. Gabled dormer with leaded iron casement. Lower part to
right with plank door and casement to ground floor; eaves-mounted
dormer with leaded casement. Scattered and mixed fenestration to
No 32, mainly C20 restored mullioned casements to right of doorway,
single segmental arched window to each floor, left; 4-pane sash to
ground floor, casement above. Central doorway with pedimented
porch, Doric order having fluted capitals and Adam style fluted
frieze with paterae; plain door opening with moulded 6-panel door.
Attached garage and cottage to east is not of special interest.
