Inn and attached outbuildings. Early-mid C19. Coursed rubble
limestone; ashlar and concrete block rebuilt chimneys; stone
slate roof. Two-storey with attic and collar; rear wing links
with parallel rear range, projecting to north with cross-wing on
end. East front: 4-window fenestration, all stone mullioned and
transomed to ground and upper floor, 2 half gables with 2-light
mullioned attic casements. Central doorway with recessed C20 door.
Ridge-mounted chimney with paired rebuilt shafts towards north end.
South end: wing projects to rear with similar 2-light in half
gable, lean-to below. Ridge-mounted chimney to wing with paired
shafts and hollow moulded cap. North end: single 2-light casement
to each floor of main gable end. Rear wing forms higher north-
facing gable with ridge-mounted chimney having 3 shafts and moulded
cap. Lower range adjoining has gabled porch; gable end of cross
wing to right with square timber louvred ridge-mounted ventilator,
this part possibly originally malthouse. Interior not inspected.
