Boundary walls, piers, gates. Early Cl9. Large squared and coursed limestone
blocks cl.8 m high to plain weathered coping and on slight plinth; swept at
right end, runs full width of house (q.v.), returns left by quadrant c.3 m, then
in coursed rubble to left hand end of facade. Central pair rusticated piers to
frieze and cornice, stepped pyramid cappings; 2 sandstone steps to C20 wrought-
iron gates.
