Detached house, formerly two. C17 and C19 with C20 modifications. Squared and
coursed limestone, concrete tile roofs. A two-part plan with a broad gabled
wing, left, built back into hillside, and back wing parallel with road; later
infill in plane of gable, right. Front is 2 storeys and attic, 1 + 2 windows.
To gable are 3-light flush chamfer-mullion casements at ground and first floor,
2-light above, each with hood-mould; right has 2-light casements including small
one in former door opening; 2-light gable C20 dormer, lean-to to right. Right
in gabled half is a broad plank door under flat canopy. Return left has various
openings and a door in deep reveals at top left. Interior much modified, but
reputed to have contained a spiral staircase; large blocked fireplace. Rebuilt
gable stacks.
