Spire House

Free standing house (now with office, in street two. Late C18 or early C19.
Limestone ashlar front and coursed stone returns, concrete tile roof. Three
storeys, 4 windows; at ground floor two 12-pane sashes, then far right a large
C20 twenty-pane light; at first floor two 12-pane sashes, a blank light, and a
canted oriel on brackets and with swept lead roof. Second floor has three
6-pane lights and one blank opening. Two gable and one centre stack, plain
string at first floor, small plinth dies into pavement just beyond door. On
right return is a C20 glazed door. At back is a slightly projecting stair
turret. Interior not inspected.
