Hexagonal pedestal tomb. Late C18. Limestone. Moulded capping to gadrooned
edge, frieze with rosettes and triglyphs: two faces are C20 replacements.
Raised shouldered panels with drapes and various carved decorations including a
skull, a dove, pick and shovel and crossed torches; high moulded hexagonal base
on square sub-base, formerly railed. To Henry Greening, Gent, 1806. Inscrip-
tion only partially legible. The square base includes an inset bronze plate to
Ann Greening, 1769: this is partly covered by the main monument. Lies immedia-
tely north of path.
