of St Mary's Church
(a) Chest tomb. Possibly early C17. Limestone. Flat table to moulded edge,
heavy lyre ends, C20 replacement fielded panels north and south sides, flared
cavetto base. The 1879 survey gives this as Daniel Gardner, 1603, but the
design seems to be of a somewhat later date; inscriptions now gone.
(b) Headstone. C18. Limestone. Modelled top with cherub husk drops, sunk
panel. Lies c.4 m west of preceding.
