2/2 Clissold Farmhouse
Farmhouse. C18 and C19. Good coursed and squared limestone, concrete tile
roof. A Long structure in two parts, and built with right hand gable end set
into ground slope. Right, higher, half is two storeys and attic; 3 windows,
3-light flush chamfer mullion casements, but 2-light over central 4-panel door.
Plat band strings at ground and first floors; two gable stacks. Right return
has plain door opening to attic approached by 6 stone steps. Left half has
2-light and 1-light wood casements flanking 4-panel door under a shallow transom
light; at first floor a 3-light steel and 2-light wood casement. Stone stack to
left. Back has a 2-light stone mullioned casement set at mid level, below a
stopped hood, and various casements under a lean-to.
