II

Small house end of row. Late C17 or early C18. Squared coursed limestone, stone slate roof. Was probably built as a pair with Shoestring Cottage (formerly listed as Frith View) (qv); it has been less substantially modified. Two storeys and attic, one window, 3 light recessed chamfer-mullion stone casements to stopped hoods; C20 gabled dormer. To right a C20 glazed door under metal hood. Modest, but representative of the lesser buildings in the town centre.
