Detached house in streetrow, formerly two. Early C18, some C19 fenestration.
Cut, squared limestone, stone slate roof. Two storeys and attic, possibly
cellar to right (ground falls away with street slope). Ground floor has two
2-light wood casements to C19 hoods, and one 2-light recessed chamfer-mullion
casement with hood; at first floor two 3-light recessed chamfer-mullion under a
common hood mould, and a 3-light casement gabled flush dormer. Gable stacks.
Flank door in chamfered surround up 4 steps between windows 2 and 3, and a
blocked former doorway between 1 and 2 right return has a 3-light chamfer
mullion casement with hood. Back extension. Plain left gable. The name
TIBBIWELL VILLAS is cut into the stonework.
