Stone House


House, now office. Early C19. Squared coursed limestone with first floor
plain string, Welsh slate roof to coped gables, central, and gable stack,
right. Two storeys, 4-windowed, 16-pane sashes with glazing bars and stone
cills first floor, ground floor modified in C20, blocked door opening
extreme left, two hexagonal bays with stone mullions and stone slate hipped
roofs, and off-centre right 5-panel door under 3-pane transom light, with
flat stone hood with.moulded edge on stone consoles. Probably built as
two cottages. Included primarily for group value.
