SP 02 28 WINCHCOMBE CASTLE STREET
House. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar with deep plain string at first floor,
low pitched Welsh slate hipped roof to deep eaves overhang. Entrance front,
to west, two storeys, 2-windowed, sashes with glazing bars and 6-panel door
with projecting pillar porch and flat top at transome level, above which
plain transome light to door; to left 2-storey service wing with ashlar
eaves stack. Road front, with pilaster responds, 2-storey, 2-windowed,
sashes with glazing bars and margin bars. Original shutters within. A
very plain but clear-cut.design.
