House. Late C19. Large blocks squared and coursed yellow limestone plus
some box framing; stone slate roof with cut stone ridge and metal gable
finials, two stacks with steep weathered crown to moulded caps. L-plan,
with upper floor, right in timber framing jettied slightly at outer gable.
Two storeys, 1, 2, 3 and 4-light stone hollow mould mullioned casements with
diagonal leading but flush wood casements in framed section. Plank door
with straps, in four-centred arch with stopped drip, central. A well main-
tained 'Tudor' study, grouping with School House (q.v.) and Three Gables
(q.v.).
