House in row. C16 or C17. Coursed rubble plinth and rough-cast on timber-
framing above the plate visible stone slate roof, with brick stack, left.
One storey and attic, 1-windowed, 2-light casement gabled dormer over
5-light C19 casement with horizontal glazing bars, late C20 door, right,
in broad chamfered frame. This appears to have been built at same time as
No 72 (q,v.) adjoining. There is now no No 70.
