Farmhouse, now house. C17. Coursed rubble, some squared, including good
rebuilt north gable, some rendered walling, enclosed by gable wall on west
side, stone slate roof to road slope, concrete replacements opposite slope.
Plain block with one coped gable, extension under cat-slide left, back,
ashlar stack in north gable. Front to road 2 storeys and attic, at first
floor has 2-light and one single light C20 casements, ground floor one
2-light chamfered mullion casement and one 3-light ovolo mould casement,
both under stepped drips. Gable right has C19 'lancet' in roof, and has
2-light ovolo mould casements under stepped drips. Entrance, west front
retains one 2-light ovolo mould casement under stepped drip, low left,
otherwise replacement windows, also late C20 door, centre, extension includes
also C20 door and gabled dormer. Interior includes heavy timber framing
to probable original cross passage, some chamfered joists and open bressummer
fire to north gable.
