SO 83 SE CHACELEY

2/2 New Farm Cottage

Detached cottage. C17 and C19. Square-panelled timber-framing
with struts and painted brick infill, painted brick extension.
Thatched roof with decorative ridge thatching, brick stacks.
Rectangular timber-framed main body with C19 brick extension onto
right gable-end. Garden front; 1½ storeys with single eyebrow
dormer, irregular fenestration mostly 2 and 3-light casements with
glazing bars. Single pitched planks over ground-floor windows.
C19 plank door to C17 part with single pitched plank over, C19
plank door off centre right blocked doorway left. C19 plank door
to C19 extension right. Projecting left gable-end stack and axial
(formerly gable end stack).
Interior not inspected.
