Marked as Chaceley Court Farm on 6 inch O.S. map. Detached
farmhouse. C16-C17 and C18 restored 1984/5. Square-panelled
timber-framing with rendered brick infill on brick and blue lias
plinth, red tile roof, brick stack. C18 extension brick. Four-
bay rectangular main body with projecting stack at right gable-end,
single bay C18 extension partially covering stack. Main body; 2
storeys and attic lit by two C20 roof dormers. North-west front;
irregular fenestration all C20 two-light wood casements, C20 four-
panelled door lower left. Projecting lean-to porch with plank
door to basement of C18 extension right. Main body, south-east
front; one 4-light and one 2-light C20 casement with glazing bars.
Three slightly canted Cl9 three-light windows. C18 extension, one
storey with basement store. Garden front; two 4-pane sashes with
horns within flattened segmental headed surrounds. Part-glazed,
4-panel door up steps right of sash windows. Twin star-shaped
flues to projecting, formerly gable-end stack, decorative zig-zag
tiling between flues, small pointed brick finials around base.
Interior of main body, beaded tie beam (probably C18), open fire
with wood bressumer, two brick lined niches over, bread oven right
of fireplace. C18 fielded panelling on wall opposite fireplace,
similar panelling with some fluted decoration to uprights to single
roomed C18 extension. Hipped roof to C18 extension.
