6/25 William Drinkewater monument in the
churchyard of the Church of St. Margaret;
c5m south of nave

GV II


Chest tomb to William Drinkewater, died 1615. Limestone.
Inscription in capitals on south recording benefaction towards the
maintenance of a preacher in Gloucester and 10 shillings yearly to
the poor of Hatherley. Tomb otherwise plain. Thick capping with
cavetto moulding.
