Detached farmhouse. C17, C18 and C20. Brick, blue lias, C20 hung
slate, slate roof, brick stacks. L-shaped plan. C17 core left
refaced in brick C18, C18 parlour wing with gable-end to front
right. C20 open-sided lean-to at left gable-end not of special
interest. Refaced main body 2 storeys, 2 bays, two 12-pane sashes
with horns left of C20 door within C18 door surround with fluted
Doric pilasters frieze and cambered modillioned pediment within
part-glazed C20 lean-to porch. C18 six-panel door with upper
panels glazed left. C18 parlour wing; 2 1/2 storeys, gable-end lit by
original 12-pane sashes within blind segmental headed surrounds.
Two light garret window with glazing bars. Mostly 12-pane sashes
in right-hand wall, one C20 steel casement within segmental-headed
surround. Bands between ground and first floor windows of both
parts and between first floor and attic of parlour wing. Axial
stack and gable-end stack, the latter was formerly axial, before
part of left-hand wing was burnt down early C20.
