Former malthouse and house. C18 and C20. Brick, moulded slag
blocks forming plinth. Rectangular plan with domestic
accommodation at riverside gable end. C20 lean-to porch onto
riverside facade and C20 part-glazed conservatory against south
wall not of special interest. Three-storey, 2-windowed facade, 12-
pane sashes to first floor, 6-pane sashes to second, all windows
with gauged brick heads. Three-light C20 casement lower left,
within blocking which formerly contained 6-panel door flanked by
pilasters with fanlight and modillioned pediment over (see former
listing). C20 part-glazed lean-to right in front of part-glazed
C20 doorway lower right. Former malthouse at rear; 2½ storeys.
Ground floor of roadside gable end, with 2 segmental-headed
doorways, one partly blocked with window inserted.
Central doorway above with 2-light window with heavy wooden frame
inserted in blocking. Double plank doors within segmental-headed
surround above. North wall: C20 aluminium garage door with
concrete lintel, segmental-headed pitching door, 4 segmental-headed
windows (one blocked), the others with C20 windows inserted. Two
C20 casements with concrete lintels. South wall: four 2-light
segmental-headed windows. Three 2-light windows immediately below
eaves.
