II

House. C16 or earlier, later alterations. Brick-nogged timber
framing, tiled roof. Two bays, one room deep, 1 1/2 storeys. Facade
to road, framing 2 panels high. On right 2-light casement, iron
opening light: to left lean-to extension to front, boarded walls,
corrugated-iron roof: 2-light window in centre, boarded door to
left; half-glazed section to left with 4 tall, single-panes.
Half-hip roof to main part, central brick chimney on ridge. Right
return, base cruck, tie beam, framing to both link 2 panels high.
Late C20 wooden casement on left, metal right, both 2-light: above
late C20 two-light casement. Left gable rendered. Various lean-
tos on left end not of special interest. Interior not inspected.
