The following building shall be listed:
MINSTERWORTH A48 (South Side)
SO 71 NE
5/107 Fish House opposite
Duni Farm
II
Draft-net fish house. Late C18 or early C19. Flemish bond brickwork with slag
block plinth to road side and concrete block plinth to river side, clay plain tile
roof. A small single cell structure with large open fireplace at one end, and an
upper loft level; square stack at south end. To river (east) front there is a
blocked door and a blocked window opening, now with two ventilation slits, and each
to cambered head; north gable has a square opening to the loft, above a larger
opening with a segmental head. To the road a plain wall, but one plank door. The
interior retains a full width cambered wood bressumer to open fireplace, and has
an upper floor. Eaves have 3-course projecting brick cornice. One of very few
surviving buildings from the former salmon fishing activity on this part of the
Severn, the building is set into the raised river embankment.
