GV II


Farmhouse. Early-mid C19. Flemish bond red brick, slate roof to
main body, red tile to extension at rear. Right gable end rebuilt
in brick C20. Rectangular plan to main body with extensions at
right angles at rear. Main body; 3 storeys. Formerly
symmetrical, 3-windowed facade, 8, 9 and 12-pane sashes with gauged
brick heads. Blind central window at second floor level. Central
formerly 6-panel fielded front door, upper two panels now form one
single glazed Light. Rustic gabled timber porch. Five-light flat-
roofed bay window to right of porch. Two-storey extensions at
rear. Brick dentil cornice. Hipped roof with stack at left gable
end. Interior not inspected.
