GV II


Detached house. Late C18. Brick on slight flat chamfered
limestone plinth. Red tile roof with brick stacks. Rectangular
plan to main body. C20 flat-roofed extension at rear not of
special interest. Two storeys and attic. Symmetrical, 3-windowed
facade. Two and 3-light casements with transoms, cambered heads to
ground floor windows, segmental heads to first floor windows.
Central fielded 6-panel door with upper two panels glazed within a
moulded architrave. Decorative cast-iron porch with hipped leaded
roof. Sawtooth eaves cornice. Projecting stack at right gable end
and stack at left gable end. Interior not inspected.
