19/59 Reform Cottage

GV II


Detached cottage. C17. Square-panelled timber-framing with
painted infill, pebble-dash or weatherboarding. Thatched roof with
decorative ridge thatching and partly painted brick stack.
Rectangular plan. Lean-to with glazed roof not of special
interest. Two storeys. Single light, 2 and 3-light casements
with leaded panes, some C20 some possibly C18-C19, flush 6-panel
door off-centre left. Half-hipped roof. Interior not inspected.
The cottage may represent a converted tithe barn associated with
Llanthony Priory.
