SO 83 NE TWYNING SHUTHONGER

Detached cottage. Late C18 with C19 extensions. Painted brick.
Red tile roof with brick stacks. Rectangular plan to main body
with later extensions at the gable ends. Main body; 2 storeys,
extension to left 2 storeys but with a lower roofline. Single-
storey extension to right. Main body; 2 storeys with 2-windowed
facade; 2-light C19 metal casements with horizontal glazing bars
to the first floor. Sun insurance plaque between the two first
floor windows. Two C20 two-light wooden casements with horizontal
glazing bars within segmental-headed surrounds to the ground floor.
C19 four-panel door (with the upper 2 panels glazed) off-centre
left within a C20 gabled open-sided porch. Two-light casements,
some within segmental-headed surrounds to extensions. Off-the-
ridge and gable end stacks (the latter now incorporated into the
extension). Interior not inspected.
