Detached house. C18 and C19. Painted brick. Slate roof with
brick stacks. Rectangular main body with C19 extensions at rear.
Flat-roof garage at rear not of special interest. Main body; 2
storeys and attic with a symmetrical, 3-windowed garden front.
Twelve-pane sashes with horns and moulded architraves to the first
floor. Eight-pane sashes to the ground floor. All windows to
garden front with fluted keystones and valances. C19 three-panel
door (upper 2 panels now glazed) with fluted pilasters either side
at the front of a wide flat-roofed C19 porch. Parapet continued
for a short distance along the gable ends either side of a gablet.
Sash windows to left gable end. Blocked or blind Diocletian window
to attic. Large C19 two-storey canted bay with stone-mullioned
cross windows at the right gable end. Brick dentils to rear wall.
Two lateral stacks from rear wall.
Limited interior inspection. Front left-hand room is panelled.
C18 fireplace with a lugged surround and moulded foliate
decoration. Round-head recesses either side of the fireplace.
