Small house at end of row. C17, later alterations. Roughly
squared, coursed stone; stone slate roof. Three windows, 2 1/2
storeys. Three-light mullioned stone window to left, hoodmould,
wall disturbed below. Blocked doorway; 2-light mullioned window,
vertical joint in stonework. To right half-glazed door up one
concrete step, stone lintel, all under lean-to wooden porch,
boarded and trellis sides. Three-light mullioned window to right,
original iron opening light, hoodmould. Above 3-light mullioned
window with iron opening light to left, vertical joint; 2-light
mullioned window, 3-light wooden casement with iron opening light.
Three gabled dormers above, each with 2-light casement. Parapet
gable on left with ashlar chimney on ridge: further chimney on
right gable. Forms group with Nos 1-3, and Snowshill Manor (q.v.).
