6/152 Gate piers, about 42m to north of
Wadfield House
GV II
Gate piers. Early C18. Ashlar. Two piers, chamfered plinth at
ground level, square stone above, moulded cap, blocking course,
swept base to ball finial. Hooks for original gates survive:
present (1986) wrought-iron gates not of special interest. Small
recesses in back of piers for original wooden fencing. Forms group
with house (q.v.).
