II
Farmhouse. Late C18, C19, altered mid C20. Coursed, squared
stone, stone slate roof. 'U' plan, wings one room deep, 2 1/2
storeys. Plinth and plain string course at first floor to whole
front, mullioned windows with leaded lights, no hoodmoulds.
Elevation facing road: on left gable of lean-to against side of
wing, end left wing plain, parapet gable, chimney set back. Right
return two 2-light windows each floor; rear of recess 2-light
window, C20 boarded door under flat stone lintel; two 2-light
windows above, 2 gabled dormers with 2-light casements over. Left
return of right wing chimney projection, 2-light window either side
on first floor, chimney from ridge of parapet gable. End of right
wing, 3-light window ground and first floors, lower a little wider,
2-light to attic, parapet gable over. Right wing appears later
addition to 'L' plan house.
