SO 81 SE BROCKWORTH COOPER'S HILL

Detached cottage. Mid - late C17. Limestone rubble; red tile
roof; brick and C20 artificial stone stack. Rectangular plan. C20
flat-roofed single-storey extension not of special interest. 1½
storeys. Central part-glazed door within a flat-chamfered
surround; 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement to the
right; three-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement to the
ground floor of the gable end facing away from the track; similar
2-light casement above. Rear elevation: 2-light stone-mullioned
casement and very small casement far left; 2-light raking half
dormer to the upper floor. Gable-end stack.
Interior: chamfered beams; open fireplace with bressumer and
original crane; stone spiral staircase.
