Farmhouse. Probably C17, extended C18, altered C19. Main body
limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins; extension random
coursed squared and dressed limestone; stone slate roof with
ashlar stacks. The earliest range is that on the east and is 'T'-
shaped in plan with a single-bay extension to the south, a later
range extends back rear right to join another range which runs
north-south thus forming a basically 'U'-shaped plan. 1½
storeys. East front with gable projecting forwards at the centre
of the early range; large Cotswold dormer to the left; C19 three-
light wooden casement with leaded panes to the ground floor;
similar 3-light casement to the dormer and to the first floor of
the projecting gable with a plank door below; 2-light metal
casement with leaded panes to the ground floor to the right of the
projecting gable. South front with gable ends projecting forwards
to right and left: 5-light C19 stone-mullioned casement with
leaded panes and a stopped hood to the ground floor of the right-
hand gable; similar 3-light C19 stone-mullioned casement above.
Large Cotswold dormer lit by a 3-light wooden casement to the left-
hand return; 3-light stone-mullioned casement below; 5-light C19
stone-mullioned casement to the linking range with a tall Cotswold
dormer with a C19 four-light stone-mullioned casement. Range
running forwards to the left with 2-light C19 stone-mullioned
casement to the ground floor; 3-light C19 stone-mullioned casement
above; 2-light metal casements with leaded panes and concrete
lintels to the right-hand return, both of which appear to be very
recent insertions; to the right there is a single-light window cut
out of a single stone block; single C20 casement with a double-
chamfered stone surround to the upper floor. Axial stacks.
