8/69 Hill Barn


Barn. Late C18. Limestone rubble; stone slate roof. Rectangular
plan with a projecting porch on the north side, flanked by later
lean-to extensions. Open-fronted shed adjoining, not of special
interest. Hipped roof with pointed finial to porch. Ventilation
slits and owl holes to the gable ends. Flat coping and roll-cross
saddles. Interior: 5 bays with bolted queen post roof trusses.
