9/75 Beverley Cottage
Semi-detached cottage adjoining Cotswold Cottage (q.v.). Mid C17.
Coursed squared and dressed limestone; stone slate roof; ashlar
and brick stacks. Rectangular main body with an extension at right
angles to rear. 1½ storeys. Single gable to south front with a 3-
light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement to the ground
floor, similar window above; blocked doorway lower right. Three-
light hollow-chamfered stone-mullioned casement with a stopped hood
to the right gable end; 2-light wooden casement with a C19 hood
above; single-light window to the attic. C19 plank door lower
right within a C20 open-sided porch with weatherboarded gable.
Axial ashlar stack and brick gable-end stack.
Interior contains beams with deep flat chamfers.
