10/87 Cross shaft and cross shaft base at
fork in road

II

Cross shaft and cross shaft base. Medieval with C19 cross.
Limestone. Square base with flat-chamfered plinth and capping,
supporting a smaller square-base with flat-chamfered base and
moulded upper corners. Cross shaft with square base becoming
octagonal as it rises. The medieval shaft now only reaches to a
height of c1m, the upper part and the cross being C19.
