7/104 The Keeper's Cottage

GV II

Cottage. Early-mid C17. Square-panelled timber-framing with
rendered or painted brick infill; gable ends limestone rubble;
cedar shingle roof with an ashlar stack. Rectangular main body.
C20 flat-roofed extension to the rear, not of special interest.
1½ storeys. Two 2-light casements with horizontal glazing bars to
the ground floor; plank door and further 2-light casement with
glazing bars far left, under a lean-to porch. Gable-end stack to
the right gable end with a projecting semi-circular bread oven to
one side. Half-hipped.gable ends Interior not inspected.
