13/15 No 2 (The Cottage)

GV II

Semi-detached cottage adjoining and possibly part of Crooked Beams
(q.v.). Mid C17-early C18. Square-panelled timber-framing with
painted brick infill; concrete tile roof. The cottage comprises
an extension at right angles to Crooked Beams. C20 rendered
extension not of special interest. 1½ storeys. North facing
elevation: two C20 two-light steel casements with horizontal
glazing bars set within an unframed area of walling with a long C20
wooden lintel. Two-light flat-roofed C20 roof-dormer. Access now
via a C20 panelled Georgian style door with the C20 extension.
Interior not inspected. Included largely for group value.
