17/54 Little Croft

II

Detached cottage. Late C17-mid C18 and C20. Square-panelled
timber-framing with pebbledashed infill; thatched roof; rendered
stack. Pebbledashed C20 extension with painted timber framing and
concrete tile roof. 'L'-shaped main body with C20 extensions to
the west. Main body: 1½ storeys with single-storey C20 extension.
Entrance front: C20 canted oriel window to the right; C20 two-
light eyebrow dormer above. C20 plank door with a single glazed
pane. C20 two-light wooden casement to the east front of the
timber-framed wing to the right. Canted single-storey conservatory
with concrete tile roof to the gable end; single-light casement
above. South-facing elevation: 2-light steel casement;
rectangular 5-light oriel Window to the ground floor; 2-light
eyebrow dormer. C20 two-light casement to the gable end facing
the road. Former gable-end stack now incorporated within the
extension to the west. Interior not inspected.
