Row of 4 cottages. C17. Square-panelled timber framing with
tension bracing and rendered infill on a coursed squared and
dressed limestone plinth; gable ends rebuilt in brick; left gable
end painted to imitate timber framing; stone slate roof with brick
stacks. Rectangular plan. Two storeys. Eight-windowed front.
Four C20 single-light casements with glazing bars and four 3-light
casements with horizontal glazing bars to the ground floor. Eight
4-light oriel windows of slight projection, two original, one with
ovolo-moulded wood mullions, one with flat-chamfered mullions. C20
timber-framed gablets over 4 of the oriels. Four C20 plank doors.
Axial and gable-end stacks. Interior not inspected.
