SP 03 NW DUMBLETON GREAT WASHBOURNE

5/85 No 17 and Manor Cottage

GV II

Possibly formerly one house now divided into two. C17 and C20.
Square-panelled timber framing with tension bracing and rendered
infill on a coursed squared and dressed limestone plinth; stone
slate roof; brick stacks. Rectangular plan with later extension
to the left gable end and rear right. Two-windowed roadside front
with three C20 two-light casements of varying sizes; C20 three-
light casement and C20 rectangular oriel to ground floor. C20 two-
light casement and single-light casement to the first floor. Two
C20 two-light dormers. Access to No 17 via C19 part-glazed plank
door up 4 stone steps, off-centre left. Access to Manor Cottage
via later extension, rear right. Chimney gablet rear left;
projecting gable-end and gable-end stack. Interior not inspected.
