of St John the Baptist, Middle
Farmhouse

GV II

Barn opposite church. Early-C18 partly rebuilt and reduced in
size. C19 square panelled timber framing with red brick infill on
the north side, otherwise C19 brick; limestone plinth; pantile
roof. Rectangular plan. Carpenter's marks on the exterior of-
the timber-framed north wall. Lozenge-shaped ventilation panels
on the south side.
Interior formerly 4 bays, now three; three C18 king post roof
trusses with carpenter's marks and raking struts; double purlins
with straight bracing. Flagged threshing floor at the east end.
