SO 93 SE OXENTON OXENTON VILLAGE

5/125 Rose Cottage

Detached cottage. C17 and C20 With later extensions. Square-
panelled timber-framing with brick infill; rendered extension,
thatched roof with decorative ridge thatching; random limestone
stack with C20 brick shaft and C20 brick stack. Rectangular main
body with C20 extension rear left forming an 'L'-shaped overall
plan. l½ storeys. Roadside front: Two C20 nine pane windows
and one C20 top-opening 6-pane window; three C20 eyebrow dormers.
All windows with glazing bars. Part-glazed lean-to porch; C20
fielded panelled door within. Projecting lateral stack to the
right of the porch; large projecting stack to the left gable end.
Interior not inspected.
