Pair of cottages. C17. Square-panelled timber framed with rendered
infill on a coursed squared and dressed limestone plinth; coursed
squared and dressed limestone; stone slate roof; ashlar stacks.
'T'-shaped overall plan. C20 extension to rear of Wysteria
Cottage, not of special interest. l½ storeys. Roadside front from
left to right: C20 canted oriel with glazing bars and raking
concrete tile roof; C20 top-opening 9-pane casement; 3-light C20
casement with glazing bars; single-light casement with horizontal
glazing bar; C20 top-opening 9-pane casement; two 3-pane
casements just below eaves upper right; two C20 three-light
dormers with glazing bars. Three-light wooden casement with
horizontal glazing bars and two small 2-light casements to attic of
the north-facing gable end. Stone built west-facing gable to Manor
Cottage containing reused moulded stonework including a stone with
finely carved blind tracery. Projecting gable-end stack to
Wysteria Cottage; axial and gable-end stack to Manor Cottage.
Interior inspection of Manor Cottage revealed no features of
special interest. Interior of Wysteria Cottage not inspected.
