Former farmhouse. C17 (reused datestone dated and initialled
'16(3)1 R.H * A-' in wall of Home Cottage adjoining). Limestone
rubble and square-panelled timber framing with rendered infill;
artificial stone slate roof; single brick stack. 'T'-shaped
original plan including Gable End (q.v.). Home Cottage at opposite
gable end, not of special interest. Two storeys and attic. Two 3-
light ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned casements with stopped hoods to
the ground floor; former 2-light stone-mullioned casement with
double-chamfered surround with the mullion removed, far left.
Single-light, two 2-light and one 3-light casement to the first
floor. One 3-light oriel to the timber-framed first floor. Large
C20 weatherboarded dormer close to the ridge. Central early
studded plank door with Tudor-arched surround. Further stone-
mullioned casements and a Tudor-arched doorway to rear. Composite
axial stack with four shafts. Interior not inspected.
