A close group of 3 parts, comprising a water mill (tide mill) and a mill store
(now a dwelling) attached to a windmill (part of the dwelling). Early C19.
The water mill is built across a creek and is associated with a sea-wall with
sluices: 1 storey and attic, ½-hipped tile roof, brickwalls (painted on the
front). The windmill is a tapered circular tower of 4 storeys, the rendered
walling being tarred. The store has 1 storey and attic, and is built on
brick piers, allowing access beneath by barges in the tidal water. ½-hipped
tile roof, with a hipped dormer, mainly boarded walls, and casements.
