House. Early C19. Stucco, with a slate roof. Elevation to street of
2 storeys, 2.2 windows. Eaves fascia, plinth, with a cornice on coupled brackets
to the semi-circular south side. Sashes in reveals, with delicate wrought-iron
balconies to the 1st floor, having a diagonal pattern. The doorway has a reeded
architrave, a 3-light fanlight, and a 6-panelled door. There is a boundary wall
in rat-trap bond, with heavy stucco gateposts, surmounted by couchant lions, with
a wrought-iron rail on a low wall and a gate. The wing wall (linking to No. 2)
has a Tudor arch and a boarded door. Other elevations are of 2 storeys and attic,
with hipped slate roofing, eaves cornice on coupled brackets.
